Contentful Sync in the Background

If you manage a large Contentful setup, you know syncs can take a while. Pagent now runs Contentful syncs as a batched background job, so a large sync no longer ties up the interface while it works. You can keep doing what you need to do and check back on progress whenever you like.

We also made element targeting sturdier on pages with dynamic components like carousels and sliders. Selectors now ignore transient state classes those components add and remove as they move, so the changes you build stick, even on pages that are constantly shifting under the hood.

Together, these changes mean fewer interruptions during sync and more dependable results on the kinds of pages that used to be trickier to test.
