More Reliable Image Changes
Images are often the first thing visitors notice, so getting them right matters. This release fixes a batch of issues in how Pagent handles image changes across your site.
Image variations now reliably resolve to the exact target image, including when your site serves different sizes through srcset or other responsive variants. Relative image URLs are also handled correctly now, so changes apply consistently regardless of how your site references its assets. On top of that, original image previews inside reviews keep their full quality, so what you see while reviewing is exactly what your visitors will see.
We also added more control: you can now manually specify which input image a variation should start from, instead of relying on Pagent to pick one for you.
- Accurate targeting for responsive and srcset images
- Correct handling of relative image URLs
- Full-quality original previews in reviews
- Manual selection of the input image for a variation
